"Jole" is the furniture and object making practice of Hamilton, Ontario based designer Joel Galenkamp . His work is sculptural, material focused, and functional and seeks to tell a story. Joel leverages the visual character of historically rich reclaimed materials by focusing on processes which literally bring their inherent beauty to the surface. This helps to bring his pieces' story to life.
